Look Forward is built with privacy as a core principle. Countdown timers are personal — your upcoming trips, birthdays, and milestones are yours. Your countdown data stays on your device — we don't collect it, sell it, or share it with anyone.

This policy explains what we do (and don't) collect, and how we handle any information associated with your use of Look Forward.

Data We Do Not Collect

Look Forward does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

— The names, dates, or details of your countdowns
— Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
— Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral data
— Location data of any kind
— Device identifiers or advertising IDs

Local Storage Only

All countdown data you create in Look Forward is stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS data storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

In-App Purchases

Look Forward offers optional tip jar purchases processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not handle payment information directly. Apple's privacy policy governs all transaction data. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made — no personal or financial details.

Third-Party Services

Look Forward does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app operates entirely offline with no network requests.

macOS Permissions

Look Forward requests only the permissions necessary to function:

Notifications — Used to alert you when a countdown reaches zero. You can disable this in System Settings at any time.

No other system permissions are requested.

Children's Privacy

Look Forward does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no features that target or are designed for children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
